Add a piece of the iconic Texas Hill Country to your home with this original 4x6” watercolor painting capturing the late summer view along the banks of the North Fork of the San Gabriel River at Tejas Park. 

Following the July 4th Floods across Central Texas and much of the Hill Country in 2025, Tejas Park is depicted here in a state of recovery. The dark, blue-greens of mature cedar trees along the hilltops contrast with the bright, new-growth greens of smaller trees and foliage down by the river, all surrounded by the remains of dead brush, tree limbs, and still-bare limestone as one gets closer to the water. Hiking along the riverbank, I found myself in awe of the abundance of new growth and color beginning to finally overtake the damage left behind by the floods.
